Hi I’m Jennifer…
For many years, I have been a leader in the health and wellness industry. With my dedication to creating and marketing wellness events aimed at changing the conversation around cannabis, I have been recognized and respected for my innovation and professionalism.
It was in the hospitality industry where I gained an invaluable education in customer service, guest experience, attention to detail, and the art of creating beautifully curated space.
Ultimately, finding a healthier, happier way of being became my number one priority through a difficult journey with digestive disease throughout my 20’s-30’s. I knew I needed to create a life of my design that was not only gratifying, but also allowed me to manage my stress levels in way that would help me maintain a healthy state of being. Eventually, I merged my roots in health and wellness with my passion for creating memorable guest experiences, to step into the next phase of my life.
In 2017, I founded Cannakula, a wellness focused cannabis education and special event company. Cannakula literally translates to “Cannabis Community”, which is wellness-focused experiences through the integration of plant medicine with yoga, meditation, sound healing and more.
I joined Walter Productions as the Event Curator for Walter Yoga in 2019, to help create and produce their signature events in downtown Phoenix. Walter Yoga combines fun and approachable yoga classes with state of the art light and sound equipment.
In 2020, with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, life changed direction once again. I pivoted to co-create Plant. Body. Soul., a Creative Marketing and Branding Agency with my business partner, Gordon Ogden. We bring creativity, innovation, positivity and kindness to cannabis, psychedelics, wellness, music, art and lifestyle marketing.
I hold 600-hour Yoga training distinction with over 1000 hours of specialized training, such as, I AM Yoga Nidra, Hatha Gong, Yoga for PTSD, Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Somatic Movement, and Qigong. I am passionate about working with individuals such as athletes, veterans, first responders and people with auto-immune conditions.
I believe the key to a happy life is meditation and I practice it daily, along with weekly Pilates, Barre, Yoga, Qigong. A healthy diet, regular sauna and cold-plunging, Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Qigong Energy Medicine Sessions keep me thriving and in full remission from digestive disease.
I my free time, I enjoy cooking for loved ones, reading and learning, being in the ocean, hiking, traveling the world and dancing to house and techno music.
