Soma & Sound returns for 90 minutes of gentle movement, guided meditation, and live sound, set in the serene glow of The Walter Art Gallery.
As we move into the heart of summer, this month's Soma & Sound is an invitation to slow down and listen.
Life gets busy. We move from one thing to the next. We respond to what needs our attention. Sometimes we become so focused on what’s happening around us that we lose touch with what’s happening within us.
This evening is an opportunity to pause.
Through gentle somatic movement, guided meditation, and immersive live sound, we'll create space to reconnect with ourselves and return to what feels true.
One of the things that makes Soma & Sound unique is that the music is created live from start to finish. Crystal bowls, percussion, gongs, euphone, and other therapeutic instruments are played in real time, creating a soundscape that unfolds organically throughout the experience.
Our theme for the evening is The Wisdom of Listening, through creating enough space to hear what the body, heart, and soul may already be communicating.
